THE PAAU SCHOLAR: Journal of Arts and Humanities

Front Matter

It is with a deep sense of piety to scholarship that I present to you Volume 17 No.1 edition of the Faculty Journal of Arts and Humanities (AJAH). This edition is a unique one not only because it contains some of the papers delivered at the 4th International Conference of Arts and Humanities organized by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Prince Abubakar Audu University, Anyigba or because the issue showcases well-researched and robust contributions from scholars across the Nigerian Universities, but because this edition launched the Faculty journal (AJAH) into the internet fief. It is an exceptional edition that blazes the trail for internet hosting right for global literary consumption of ideas and knowledge of intellectual scholarship in the Arts and Humanities domain.

My sincere appreciation goes to the editorial board for their cooperation and support. I thank most especially, the Dean of the Faculty Prof. S. A.Ige, for his great commitment and sacrifice to this project.

I wish to appreciate our contributors and acknowledge the synergy of the various topics presented will elucidate and synthesize the enriching academic experiences of our audience. We also welcome more scholarly manuscripts for the forth-coming (Vol.17 No.2) and other editions
Finally, if in the course of reading, any errors are detected, it is highly regretted

Prof. Alaba Anthony Obaje
